This video shows how to use the Working folder feature in ApexSQL Source Control. The feature is introduced for the purpose of quick evaluation of ApexSQL Source Control. However, it can be used as a temporary solution when there is no source control system in place. On other hand, it should not be considered as a permanent source control solution since not all features are supported when using a working folder. These features are: labels, revision history, branching and merging.
A working folder can be utilized with both development models, shared and dedicated and as such any feature specifically related to these models can be used. For example, when the shared model is used, features like checking out, database policies, logging changes can be used in the same way as if the actual source control system.
